Staying Safe During the Holidays

As we approach the Thanksgiving and December holidays, it is important to be extra careful to help stem the spread of COVID-19. Remember, the governors of Washington and Oregon have asked residents to stay home and celebrate with people in their immediate families. If you must travel, Governor Inslee has also recommended that residents self-quarantine for 14 days after returning from out of state:

December Recognition Assembly and Winter Sing-along

Join us for the December awards celebration and our annual winter sing-along on Wednesday, December 16, from 11:00-12:00 on Zoom! Awards will be from 11:00-11:30 and the sing-along from 11:30-noon. Mr. Gabbard, our principal, is a former music teacher, and he will help lead the singing! Parents whose children will receive awards will be notified in advance by email and certificates will be mailed home the first week of January.

December School Supply Pickup

We are planning another school supply pickup for the week of December 7-11. While we remain on remote learning, we will likely have school supply pickups every 6 weeks or so. We do not have all of the details, yet, but will send out a notice next week after Thanksgiving break with more information. Stay tuned! Questions? Contact Mrs. Journey, Assistant Principal.

Student COVID Screening Flowchart

FOR IN-PERSON STUDENTS (e.g., Kindergarten, Learning Cafe, etc.): Please use this flowchart to determine if your child must stay home if sick or exposed to someone who has tested positive for COVID. Remember, frequent handwashing, using hand sanitizer, practicing social distancing of 6-feet or more, disinfecting high-touch surfaces, and wearing a mask are the best ways to prevent transmission. If children are sick, especially if they have a fever, they must stay home, please.
