December Assembly & Winter Sing-along
Wednesday, December 16, 11:00-12:00 by Zoom
As colder weather arrives...
For children coming to school for in-person small group learning options, remember to bring a jacket, hat, gloves, and boots for colder and wetter weather.
Staying Safe During the Holidays
As we approach the Thanksgiving and December holidays, it is important to be extra careful to help stem the spread of COVID-19. Remember, the governors of Washington and Oregon have asked residents to stay home and celebrate with people in their immediate families. If you must travel, Governor Inslee has also recommended that residents self-quarantine for 14 days after returning from out of state: https://bit.ly/3pSclYd

Mr. Gabbard, our principal, is a former music teacher, and he will help lead the singing! Ms. Savage helps celebrate kindergarteners!
We finished our first week of in-person learning for kindergarten on November 20. The staff helped cheer them home at the end of each session at 11:30 and 3:30.
Ms. Hall congratulates kindergartners for their first week!
We are so proud of our kindergartners and teachers for their first week of in-person learning at school! Thank you Mrs. Adams, Mrs. Mahoney, and Ms. Schaub, our 3 in-person teachers, and Ms. Graves, our remote teacher!
Staff cheer kindergartners as they finish their first week!
Staff waved pom-poms and displayed signs and balloons to cheer on kindergartners who finished their first week of in-person learning on Friday.
School Counselor Web Page
Ms. Hall, our counselor, put together this wonderful web page: https://bit.ly/DBP-Counseling. Check it out!
December School Supply Pickup
We are planning another school supply pickup for the week of December 7-11. While we remain on remote learning, we will likely have school supply pickups every 6 weeks or so. We do not have all of the details, yet, but will send out a notice next week after Thanksgiving break with more information. Stay tuned! Questions? Contact Mrs. Journey, Assistant Principal.
Student COVID Screening Flowchart
FOR IN-PERSON STUDENTS (e.g., Kindergarten, Learning Cafe, etc.): Please use this flowchart to determine if your child must stay home if sick or exposed to someone who has tested positive for COVID. Remember, frequent handwashing, using hand sanitizer, practicing social distancing of 6-feet or more, disinfecting high-touch surfaces, and wearing a mask are the best ways to prevent transmission. If children are sick, especially if they have a fever, they must stay home, please.
