The Skipper Scoop

Week of May 27th

SKIPPER NATION

It's a BIG week at FHS. Our students are prepping for finals, completing fun projects, and of course our Seniors are ready for Graduation on Friday night. Senior projects have wrapped up and the gym is being prepared. Our Positive Behavior event was well attended today. Kids played basketball games, corn-hole, and good old fashioned kickball. Pics to come next week!

Make it a great week!

These students chose a Harding staff member who had the most positive effect on their school career.

Thank you to the Academic Boosters for sponsoring the event and generously donating scholarship money. The Senior Center did a beautiful job of hosting the event as well.

CPR Training

Thanks to the Fairport Harbor Fire Department for coming to help our 9th graders. The students were trained in CPR, AED device usage, and how to administer an Epi Pen. Thanks for giving up your time to work with our kids.

Pen Ohio Update

Emily Luke placed 18th in the State writing tournament at Lake Erie College! Well done! Congrats Emily! Her score is the highest Harding has ever had at the State level. Congratulations to the entire English department.

Beach Day

In keeping with tradition the middle school students headed to the beach last Friday. The kids were armed with sporting equipment, sunscreen, and packed lunches. Thanks to the middle school teachers for making this day possible. Life is better in a beach town!
