Out of Uniform Dress Guidelines

On Friday's for $2, students may dress out of uniform. Also, for our Bobcat Buck Dress Dress Down days, students pay 10 Bobcat Bucks and are allowed to dress out of uniform. Below are the guidelines that MUST be followed on these days. If a student does not follow any of these guidelines, a parent will be called to bring uniform clothes.

Dress Guidelines are as follows:


-Clothing must be appropriate for school (no clothing that portrays alcohol, tobacco, gangs, violence, guns/weapons, drug use, or contains anything offensive). Spaghetti straps, netting, mesh, or any type of see through material is not allowed.


-Shirts must have sleeves and be long enough to cover waist area. Shirts do not have to be tucked in. Belts are optional; no short shirts.


-Shorts must follow school uniform policy for length. The length must not exceed 6 inches above the floor when in a kneeling position, nor two inches below the top of the knee in a standing position. NO BLUE JEAN SHORTS ALLOWED!!!!


-Jeans, capris, and sweats are allowed, but must not have holes or defraying. No pajama pants allowed.


-Slabbing is not allowed.


-No tights, leggings, jeggings, spandex pants or excessively tight clothing are allowed.


-PE uniform is not allowed.


-Shoes must have backs. No slippers, flip flops or sliders.

School Wide Brochure Fundraiser

Monday, August 29 through Friday, September 16

EMS will begin our School Wide Fundraiser on August 29, 2022. Students will go home with a Ziploc with information on selling various items in this year's catalog. All money and orders are due back at school by September 16.

(More invites will be sent home after the 1st 9 weeks.)

Cross Country News

Congratulations to the EMS Cross Country Team!!!


Monday, August 19th, Erath Middle School went against 7 schools participating in a meet. Erath girls finished 1st and were represented by Cheyenne Earnest, Abigail Theall, Annabelle McDonald, Gretchen Theriot, Elise Mencacci, Heather Hardin, Grace Theriot, Braelyn Nelson, Zayli Vincent, Rilyn Perro, and Kelsie Simmons.


The boys also finished 1st and were represented by Mason Soirez, Aiden Greig, Caul LeBlanc, Connor Lange, Zaylen Vincent, Kiyzer Purtle, Brandt Bird, Cooper Greig, Jayden Trahan, Noah LeBlanc, Thomas Villien, Andrew Barras, and Benjamin Lopez.


Awesome job by all of these young athletes. Also, thanks to manager Ali Trahan!
