NO SCHOOL 2/16 and 2/19
SAT / E-Learning Day 3/4/2024
March 4th is an E-Learning Day for all except all Juniors who will be taking the state mandatory SAT. Juniors will report that morning at 8:40am and will be done by 12:00PM. If your student has extended time testing they will be done approximately at 12:45. There will not be bus transportation provided for Juniors. If your Junior student needs a ride on 3/4 please contact the school by 2/29.
For the Freshmen, Sophomores and Seniors March 4th will be an e-learning day. Students will follow the synchronous e-learning schedule.
● Period 1: 8:00-8:25
● Period 2: 8:35-9:00
● Period 3: 9:10-9:35
● Period 4: 9:45-10:10
● Period 5: 10:20-10:45
● Period 6: 10:55-11:20
● Period 7: 11:30-11:55
The students will need to report and answer the attendance question during the assigned class period and do the work that is assigned.
This weeks news
1. Dollars for Scholars - Be ready to Answer your phones on February 24th and 25th. As Tri-West students will be calling to ask for your help in raising money for scholarships. Dig deep and help a young Bruin achieve their dream.
2 . SENIORS!!!! - InVestEd will be here again on 3/4 from 5:30 to 7:30 for a FAFSA Completions Workshop. All students need to bring their Chromebooks to help expedite the process. Reminder it is a state mandate that all Seniors fill out the FAFSA.

4. Career Fair February 29th - We will be having a career fair in the Auxiliary gym on February 29th from 11 am to 2 pm. All Juniors and Seniors will have an opportunity to meet professionals for an array of many different occupations. This will be another opportunity for the Juniors and Seniors to have their mandatory College / Career paperwork signed. Reminder that this is a state graduation requirement.
5. Registration is open for the NWHSC Cubs Preschool program for the 2024-25 school year. Children must be age 4 by 8/1/2024 and fully potty trained to enroll. In order to secure a spot, parents must turn in a completed registration form and the $150 registration fee. We also will need a birth certificate, record of immunizations and a proof of residency. North Salem only has full-time spots available and there are a very limited number of part-time spots available at Pittsboro, in addition to full-time. Any questions about the North Salem program can go to Mrs. Butterfield (butterfieldca@hendricks.k12.in.us) and about the Pittsboro program can go to Mrs. Thompson (thompsonle@hendricks.k12.in.us).
6. Wear Colts Blue on 2/23/24 - Blue the Colts mascot will be here at TWHS for a convocation on Friday 2/23/24. We have modified our schedule for the day.
