Crestwood School District updates - week of May 4 - 8
Crestwood SD teachers began enhanced virtual presence and increased expectations for engagement.
What will the enhancements look like?
We have been extremely pleased with the participation within our Continuity of Education Plan. The feedback has been positive with an appreciation for our understanding of the varied circumstances of our families and students. CSD is poised to enact one of the final pieces of our plan. Specifically, the grading system for our students for the 4th quarter.
Please understand that our elementary students have different grading needs than our secondary campus students. Therefore, most of this information is pertinent to only our secondary campus students in 9th - 12th.
Students enrolled in grades 9 - 12 remain in our enhanced enrichment model. However, participation will now be mandatory, The mandatory term will begin on Monday, May 11, 2020.
A Pass/Fail grading system will be utilized for students in 9th-12th based on participation. Additional information will be sent to these students and families by the building principal.
Students in K through 8th will continue in the same manner as directed on March 16th. The excellent participation coupled with meaningful activities planned by the teachers have resulted in a tremendous outcome. We are able to maintain our COE Plan without altering, thanks to our excellent educational community.
Should your family have barriers to success in these processes, please reach out to your building principal for assistance and support. Crestwood remains committed to the success of each student and will do everything possible to remove those barriers so that your child is able to succeed.
Stay safe, be well, and stay #CometStrong

Graduation 2020 - Program details!
Friday June 12, 2020 Graduation
The Crestwood School District will be honoring our class of 2020 during these unprecedented times with a non-traditional graduation program on Friday June 12, 2020. Our recognition begins with a special vehicle procession lead by our local police and fire company starting at approximately 4:00 PM.
- The procession will travel RT 309 S to Church Rd and return to our campus.
- Cars will enter the campus, continue to travel in a single file line in front of the school, serpentine through the front parking lot, then to the left of the school by the baseball field down to the field house where the graduate will be recognized and honored individually.

- Students, with full safety protocols in place, will walk across a stage to receive their diploma cover and be recognized.
- All parents and family members are required to remain in their vehicles at all times.
- LifeTouch photographers will photograph every graduate receiving their diploma cover at no charge.
