What Great Schools Have In Common

In this era of accountability, it is common for all schools to be ranked in terms of the quality of education they provide to its students. I recently read an article that described the methodology utilized to rank the best High Schools in the country. First, the best high schools have a highly developed curriculum with college and career readiness opportunities for college credit. They take learning to a deeper understanding between students and teachers. These schools also have a wide variety of extracurricular activities. Student support services also serve all students, not just the ones that make "good grades." Finally, everyone at great High Schools believes and articulates that "great things are happening here every day." At Crosbyton Secondary Schools, do we believe that good or great things are happening?

Have a great week and as always... It's a Great Day to be a Chieftain!
