Student Computer Audits in Advisory THIS WEEK for 9th and 10th Grades
What you need to know about student device audits
Student device audits are critical to our campus. This ensures we have accurate numbers of students with devices that are in good, working condition. When a student loses or damages a computer, or it gets stolen, there is a potential for a significant gap in that student's learning.
Device audits are also critical for the funding of new technology in the future.
Please make sure your student brings their device EVERYDAY to school. Additionally, they should come to campus with their device charger.
Advisors will complete the device audit with 9th and 10th grades students this week. 11th and 12th grade students will complete their device audit after the break.
If a student does not bring their device for the audit, it will be marked lost on their account.

Mr. Lamb wins Bryan Adams Teacher of the Year!
Mr. Lamb wins Teacher of the Year!
Congratulations to Dillon Lamb, BA Teacher of the Year!!
Schools across Dallas ISD are honoring teaching excellence by introducing their extraordinary campus teachers of the year.
These teachers represent a wide variety of diversity and years of experience in the district, and campuses are coming together to celebrate their passion and dedication to accelerating student success and achievement.
Each honoree will have the opportunity to apply to be considered for the district teacher of the year award. Based on the teachers’ applications, Dallas ISD’s selection committee will name nine finalists from three categories by campus type and school level.
One winner will be selected to represent the elementary, secondary and choice/magnet campuses, and the finalists and winners will be honored at a special event next spring.
Mr. Lamb is an exceptional teacher and advocate for students. He has been at Bryan Adams for over 10 years. He has won several awards, including the "Program Builder Award" for his outstanding work in building and growing our Creative Writing Club.
Being Thankful this Holiday Season
Practice Gratitude this Holiday Season
Everyone can benefit from making an effort to practice gratitude every day. These 3 steps can help you start feeling more grateful, and appreciative of the good things in your life:
Notice good things, look for them, appreciate them.
Savor, absorb, and really pay attention to those good things.
Express your gratitude to yourself, write it down, or thank someone.

Bell Schedule & Dress Code Info (WINTER'S VERSION)
BA Winter Dress Code
We want our kids to be warm during the winter months. We know that many of them walk to school and/or wait outside until the doors are open. Please take note of our winter policy at Bryan Adams:
1. Students may wear warm layers with their BA Polos underneath
2. Students may wear jackets with hoods, but hoods may not be worn in the building.
3. We highly recommend clothes-toe shoes or boots. Crocs are allowed, but not suggested to keep those piggies warm!
4. Hats, beanies, or other headgear are not to be worn in the building.
5. NO pajamas, leggings or onesies!
6. We will open the building at 7:45AM any time the wind chill is below 40*
