Spring ISD Parents/Guardians of Returning Students:
Welcome to the 2020-21 School Year! As you may already know, all students will begin the year on Monday, Aug. 17 with remote instruction to ensure health and safety.
In order to ensure a strong start to the school year, we need all parents and guardians to complete our annual student update process as soon as possible. This important, online process will allow our campuses to finalize student schedules and plan appropriately for the upcoming school year.
This year, the process will look a little different, and will require that parents/guardians log into the my.springisd.org portal and then go into the Home Access Center.
We have outlined the specific steps below and are also linking a Parent Guide that provides detailed instructions with screenshots. We’ve even set up a dedicated helpline in both English and Spanish if you need further assistance at 281-891-6337.
Please don’t delay in completing this annual update. With the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic, online registration is more important than ever and will ensure we have vital information to communicate with you and your student about Chromebooks, afterschool programs, free/reduced meals, bus transportation, schedules and all of the services you and your students rely on.
So here’s what parents/guardians need to do:
- Go to my.springisd.org portal.
- Log in using the username/password provided to you by the district.
- If you have trouble logging in, please contact 281-891-6337.
- Once logged in, open the Home Access Center (HAC) icon.
- Make sure you have the Registration icon selected and then select the Update Enrollment tab.
- Under Available Forms, select “Start” to complete the 2021 Returning Student Registration Form.
- Link your PowerSchool account to your HAC account by clicking on Sign In and entering your PowerSchool username and password.
- If you have trouble logging in because you’ve forgotten your credentials, please contact 281-891-6337.
- Enter the student’s date of birth to begin the form.
For parents of more than one student, you will need to complete the registration of one student FIRST and submit it.
Once you have successfully submitted one Returning Student Registration, return to Home Access Center (HAC) and click on the current student name in the top right of the header. Select the next student from the list and then click Submit.
