MAP and CogAT Reports
Just a reminder MAP and CogAT (2nd and 5th) Reports came home on Friday.
Dear parents of Prospect K-5 students,
I am very pleased to announce a special event for K-5 students in D181, occurring on Wednesday, February 24 during all hybrid and remote classes.
We will be hosting a virtual one-woman show about Wilma Rudolph, the first woman to win 3 Olympic Gold Medals in Track (Rome 1960). Wilma's story highlights her strength and courage in overcoming polio, poverty, and discrimination as an African-American woman. Wilma became a coach and a mentor to children throughout the US, encouraging them to "Never underestimate the power of dreams; the potential for greatness lives within each of you."
We are grateful that the D181 Foundation has donated the cost of this in-class virtual presentation for all seven elementary schools. As we get closer to this date, I will give you a reminder. Because we haven't had any traditional assemblies this year, I hope that your child/ren will come home excited to share information and excitement about the story of Wilma Rudolph.
