Region F News
Welcome Back School Social Workers! I would like to take the time to introduce myself as the new MASSW Region F President for 2016-17. My name is Stacey Schoenherr, and have been a School Social Worker for the Troy School District for 13 years. I was a board member for the region the past 2 years, and am so looking forward to taking on the new duties as President.
Region F has plans this year to host a Spring Conference for members on March 24th at Oakland Schools. We are excited to have Kelly Dunlap presenting on evaluations for students with Autism. In addition, board members will be working diligently on the 2016-17 School Social Worker of the Year for Region F. I am confident there will be many wonderful candidates nominated this year.
Finally, I would like to take the time to invite Region F members to the monthly board meetings to help plan and discuss for the year. We meet on Wednesdays at 4:15pm Oakland Schools for approximately 1 hour. (The schedule is at: http://www.masswmi.org/members/group.aspx?id=135856).
Wishing you all a wonderful beginning to the new school year!
