Wall of Taliaferro Street

On November 4th, 2013 a woman was spotted painting the main wall on Taliaferro street. Lots of kids and adults haven't been pleased with this idea. Lots say it has so many memories, but no one knows what shes doing either. It has been said that Mr. Eubanks (Barber) had given her permission. It has also been said that she is from New York.

Two girls had offered the lady some food, but she would not except it. Later that evening she had come into a restaurant, talking about being "starving". She had also been lots of foolish questions.

When she was done with the wall, she had left. She was no where to be seen. Everyone was talking about it. The painting consisted of Martin Luther King Jr., Minister Malcolm X, Harriet Tubman, Fannie Lou Hamer, and many flags of liberation. The painting had said "To the people of Taliaferro street. I Dedicate This Wall of Respect. Painted in Memory of my cousin, Jimmy Lyons."

LIVE Fight!

Antonia Cruz and Felix Vargas (both 19 years old) are extremely close friends, but on November 8th, they will battle for a chance to win the Golden Glove. This two teens had been entered by The Boys Club. These and many other young teens in this division will be live on ESPN on November 8th at 8 p.m.
