Hawk Happenings: Dec. 6th

Holy Rosary Regional School/Juan Diego Academy Community

Message from the Principal

Happy Wednesday!

It is a busy time at Holy Rosary! Yesterday, all of the Pre-K 3 and 4 year olds took the bus to the Children's Museum and today, all of the kids got a gift of candy in their shoes (a present from St. Nicholas). We are also finishing up a lot of projects before the Christmas vacation, as well as preparing for the Christmas Program. Thank you to all who voted and who emailed me with requests regarding the date for the program. We will keep the Christmas Program on Friday, Dec. 15th at 6:30 pm. Unless otherwise noted (if your child has a special part in the play), students should be dropped off at 6 pm that night. Teachers will let your child know if they have a different drop off time. Also, don't forget that we will be selling tamales and atole (first come, first served) in the kitchen that night. Get some tamales to take home and enjoy during the holidays! This will be a wonderful event, so bring family and friends to check it out!

Our annual Crab Feed and Auction are coming up soon. This is just a reminder that your procurement of $100 (or an item valued at $100, such as a gift card, sports tickets, etc.) is due next Friday, 12/15. The Crab Feed Committee then takes the items and gift cards to prepare everything for our silent and live auction. This is one of the three major fundraisers for our school. After Friday (12/15), the procurement amount increases to $150, so don't forget to take care of this by next week. The Crab Feed and Auction are on Saturday, February 10th at Bellarmine Prep High School. It is a great event with food, fun, auction, and dancing, so plan on attending!

Have an excellent week! Don't forget...Fulcrum Apps are due THIS Friday.

Blessings,

Katie Dempsey

Principal

$100 Crab Feed Family Commitments are due December 15th!

As noted on the Financial Agreement, each Holy Rosary family is required to contribute to the annual Crab Feed. Similar to last year, we will accept donations equal to or greater than $100 in value in the form of cash or check, gift cards to local restaurants, businesses, sporting events, or places of interest. Families may also provide vouchers for goods and services such as catering, lawn maintenance, baked goods, etc.
***Items are subject to procurement committee approval.***

Each family has a $100 fundraising commitment for the Crab Feed/Auction that is due on December 15th. The $100 fee can easily be paid online at: https://hrrsjda.ejoinme.org/procurement2018 or in the office.
If payments are not made by December 15th, the fee goes up to $150 per family.

It is important to note that we will not be accepting previously used items as part of our event; this process allows us to make better use of our resources to ensure our event is a success. We thank you in advance for your cooperation and continued support.
