PVE PTO Food Drive - November 14th-18th
The PVE PTO will be collecting nonperishable food items for our annual Food Drive to benefit the Boone County Food Pantry. The food collected will help provide holiday meals and stock the pantry throughout the year. The PVE Food Drive plays a huge role in their success and this annual tradition has been taking place for over 15 years! Last year, PVE donated over 10,000 food items. Let’s all work together and encourage our kids to rally together for this great cause. The food pantry will accept 2020 expiration dates! Please try to refrain from sending in glass items and we do not accept candy. Thank you again for your donations!
Friendly Competition
As in past years, there will be a friendly daily competition and a grand total winner announced at the end of the week. The classroom that brings in the most items daily will be recognized on the announcements by Principal Smith, receive the traveling Food Drive trophy and win a donated Colts spirit item for “tackling hunger.” The class that donates the most items for the week will receive a visit from the high school football team on Tuesday, November 22nd and additional Colts spirit items to represent their awesome accomplishment!
If you have any questions, please contact Laura Ritter (lauraellenritter@gmail.com) or Marianne Samuel (hakes.marianne@gmail.com)!
