About Tuktut Nogait National Park
Tuktut Nogait is a kind of Tundra like place. Its located 170 kilometers away from the Arctic Circle. Tuktut also has wild rivers, canyons, and varieties of wildlife and vegetation.
Tuktut Nogait Wildlife
The animals in Tuktut Nogait are caribou, wolves, grizzily bears, muskoxen, and arctic char. Migratory birds such as peregrine falcons or golden eagles nest on the canyons of Tuktut Nogait.

Caribou
The Bluenose Caribou move in herds. In mid-June the caribou come back to the park to give birth.
Purple Saxifrage
Wet sedge meadows in low-lying areas and slopes by snow banks. In June and July the tundra has lots of wildflowers, such as; purple saxifrage and river beauty.
