Your Lakeview Team!

Lakeview Staff during Kindness Week

Conferences This Week

Conferences are next week, and we value the chance to talk with you about your student's progress so far this year. This special sit-down meeting with a teacher is your chance to wonder about academic progress, character development, and how we all work as a team to support your child. There is good news to share about every students at Lakeview, and we want to hear from you as well about what progress you are seeing at home. If you have not confirmed a time with your child's teacher, please do so as soon as possible.

During conferences, the Scholastic Book Fair will be taking place in the library. This is a great chance to get a new book (or two ... or three) to read together at home.

Can you help our PTO with the Book Fair? Click here for the Sign-Up Genius.

Please see this letter from Ms. Harmeyer, South Milwaukee's Gifted and Talented Coordinator, about G/T programming. This letter would be especially helpful to read before conferences.

From the PTO ...

Lion Families! We are excited to share with you another fundraising opportunity for our school ... Angel Grandma's Preserves! These jams and jellies are hand-crafted using the freshest ingredients. To ensure the highest quality product available, the fundraiser will be in waves, starting off with K4 and Kindergarten, who all received information in this week's Tuesday folder. Older grades can expect to see this in the coming weeks. Please let the PTO know if you have any questions. Happy eating ... I mean fundraising! Click the flyer below for information about the flavors of jams.

Lions ROAR! Recognize a staff member at Lakeview

Is there a staff member at Lakeview that you would like to recognize? Our PTO has set up an easy way for you to recognize anyone at Lakeview that is making a difference for your child. That could be a teacher, paraprofessional aide, secretary, food service, or custodian. There are so many people working together for our students! We encourage you to let the PTO know so they can pass on your compliments! Here is the link to the survey. (You are welcome to submit more than one!)
