Happy Friday Fun Night Families!
The school was abuzz with excitement for tonight's Friday Fun Night, it's the first one in three years! A big thanks to Ms. Watts and Ms. Dorsey for putting it together!
Parent/Teacher Conferences - THANK YOU to all of you for coming to parent/teacher conferences, it was great to see so many of you! If you were unable to attend, please reach out to your child(ren)'s teacher to reschedule
Rain Gear - With "atmospheric rivers' becoming the norm, please send your child with as much rain gear as possible. Kids LOVE to play in the water, and they get quite chilled in the school after getting soaked at morning recess. We have extra rain gear at school for those who need to borrow some.
Sleep - I never realized how much sleep kids need until I had my own children! As many of you know, lack of sleep and behaviors in kids go hand in hand. I've noticed more and more students coming to school tired, which makes school more difficult. The recommended amount of sleep for kids is 3-5-year-olds: 10-13 hours/night; 6-12 years old: 9-12 hours/night! If you need more information, read this article.
Have a wonderful weekend!
