The Process of Photosynthesis
By Vanessa Tobias 3rd Period
Photosynthesis Equation
CO2 + H2O >Sun's energy>Chlorophyll> C6H12O6 + O2
CO2 - 2 molecules of carbon dioxide
H2O - Water
C6H12O6 - Glucose
O2 -2 molecules of Oxygen
The Process of Photosynthesis
Plants take in carbon dioxide, sunlight, and water and glucose and oxygen are produced.

Process of Photosynthesis
How Photosynthesis Works
Photosynthesis is how plants make foods. Energy from the sun is necessary to begin the process (sunlight). Chlorophyll allows plants to absorb energy from light. Water is taken into the plant by the roots and carried to the leaves through the xylem. Carbon dioxide gas(CO2) is taken into the plant through the stomata on the underside of leaves. Plants produce glucose(C6H12O2) for themself and oxygen(O2) for us to breath.
