Student Achievements
- QuizBowl - Congratulations to Stoller's team members Arohan Agate, Yash Balwanti, Aaron Gao, Rishab Jain, Jeremy Luo, and Alan Ma. Last weekend, the "Stoller A" QuizBowl team competed at Aloha HS at the Portland Invitational and received third place! Stoller competed against other high school teams and was the only middle school team in the competition. In May, Stoller will be one of the teams representing the Northwest at the national championship tournament.
- Mathcounts - Congratulations to this year's Stoller Mathcounts Team for winning the Regional Mathcounts Contest on Saturday, February 23rd. The team had a dominating performance with all students finishing in the top 20 overall out of 80 + competitors. The team finished 1st out of 10 teams in the region, which was great. The team members are:
Amy Kang, Ananya Lanka, Victor Li, Alan Ma
Roshen Nair, Ryan Shen, Nividh Singh,
Leonard Yan, Alicia Ye, Ethan Zhang
A special shout out goes to Nividh Singh, who was the overall 1st place winner this year! Now the team begins to prepare for the State tournament which will be on Saturday, March 9th.
Mr. Norse is always thinking ahead to future year's competitions, so if there are any students out there who would like to learn more about Mathcounts, drop by his room (B-2) sometime for more information.
