Kīlauea is the youngest and southeastern most volcano on the Big Island of Hawaii. Kilauea is a shield volcano in the Hawaiian Islands, The most active of the five volcanoes thatt together form from the island of Hawaii. Kīlauea lies on a curving line of volcanoes that includes Mauna Kea and Kohala and excludes Mauna Loa. It's last eruption was on January 3, 1938. Also It's elevation is 4,190' (1,277 m)
