Heroin Town Hall Meeting Information:

Heroin Town Hall Meeting

When: April 27 at 6 pm

Where: Stratton Community Center

Why: To bring awareness to the rising heroin use that we have in Shelby County.

Who: Everyone is encouraged to come! There will be numerous guest speakers to give you information and answer all of your questions.

Free resources and refreshments will be provided.

8th Grade Parent Breakfast:

Just a reminder that tomorrow (April 28) will be our last Parent Breakfast for our 8th grade parents. Please join us in the library cafe at 7:30am. We will be talking about upcoming testing and information regarding 9th grade. Please click here.

Volleyball Members:

There will be a volleyball meeting on Tuesday at 3:30pm in the presentation room. Any player interested in playing volleyball next school year needs to attend. If you have any questions, please see Mrs. Purdom.

Cheerleading Tryouts:

Any student interested in trying out for the 2015 - 2016 cheer team can pick up a packet in the office starting today. Tryouts start Tuesday, April 28th. No experience is necessary.

Coffee Shop to Close:

The Coffee shop will close for this school year on May 1st. However, you will still be able to purchase Iced coffees in the cafeteria.

Salad Bar is COMING:

Yes you read that right. Our salad bar will be up and running on May 4th. Plan on trying out this new addition to our cafeteria!!!

All Outstanding Lunch Charges:

Student’s cafeteria accounts should be paid by May 1st. The cafeteria is closing out its books for the end of the school year. No new charges can be added. Please make sure your child has money in their account to cover their lunch costs for the rest of the school year.

FCA:

Any student interested in attending FCA leadership camp this summer should sign up to attend an informative meeting with Mrs. Canterbury or Mrs. Settles before April 29th.

Teacher Appreciation Week:

Next week at Collin’s High School we will be celebrating Teacher Appreciation Week. We would like to do the breakfast on Monday, May 4th and the luncheon on May 8th. Would you be willing to bring in something for one or the other or both? Thank you in advance for helping make our teacher’s feel special next week.
