Texas A&M Scholarship Opportunities

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS:
Texas A&M University’s competitive four-year Academic Scholarships are offered by Scholarships & Financial Aid. These awards are available to incoming freshman admitted for the fall only. Our office will notify selected students of their scholarship offers in February of their high school senior year. Each scholarship includes a one-time $1000 scholarship to be used for a Texas A&M approved education abroad experience.

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
To apply for these scholarships, both an application for general university admission and a Top Scholars application must be submitted to the Office of Undergraduate Admissions. All students are encouraged to complete the general admissions application by October 15. A separate Honors College/Top Scholars application must be completed for Top Scholars award consideration no later than November 15.

- Current high school/home-schooled students attending school in one of the 50 U.S. states, Puerto Rico, or select DoD schools who will graduate high school during the 2021-2022 academic school year (students graduating from an American or expat school abroad are not eligible for this award)
- U.S. Citizens (not a Temporary Resident), U.S. Nationals, U.S. Permanent Residents, Refugees, Asylees, Cuban-Haitian Entrants, or Humanitarian Parolees - based on the guidelines utilized by U.S. Department of Education for Federal Financial Aid eligibility
- Planning to pursue a degree at an accredited U.S. post-secondary institution
- Selected Scholars must present a minimum overall B/3.0 GPA in high school coursework
College JumpStart Scholarship Program
