Superintendent's Message
Dear Parents,
I hope this message finds you enjoying summer break filled with relaxation and exciting adventures.
We want to inform you about an important change in our schools' schedules for the upcoming year. After careful consideration, the start time for all schools will begin 20 minutes earlier than in the previous school year. This means students will be picked up in the morning and dropped off in the afternoon 20 minutes earlier than last year.
Careful consideration was taken into account in making the decision to begin our school day 20 minutes earlier. This adjustment in school start time will provide students with enhanced opportunities to engage in extracurricular activities or personal interests after school.
We understand this change may require you to make adjustments to your family’s morning routines. It is our belief that the benefits our students will gain from this time adjustment will contribute to their academic success.
Thank you for your understanding and support in our commitment to providing the best possible education for our students. Should you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact your building administrator or the district office. We look forward to partnering with you for a successful school year.
Sincerely,
Superintendent Martin

"Question of the Month"
When is the school calendar developed each year?
A committee meets in January to develop two calendar options for patrons, staff, and students to vote on for the upcoming school year. The calendar options are then sent to families and school staff and voted on using Survey Monkey. After collecting votes for several weeks, the voting is closed and results are presented to the Board of Trustees at the February board meeting for approval.
