Welcome to German class at East High! This class is designed to help you learn basic German communication skills - you will practice listening, speaking, reading, and writing in German.
We'll start off the year with simple conversations in German, learn survival phrases for this class, as well as being able to discuss likes and dislikes about school.

We'll meet at East High in room C 107. Once you enter the room, use only German! :) Wir sprechen DEUTSCH!
Why learn German?
Do you have immediate family members who speak German or are from a German speaking country? Are you German or do you have German heritage? Do you like the language? Do you love soccer? You are not the only one who learns German.

East High is offering a short-term exchange with the Gymnasium Trittau in Germany to give you the opportunity to put your German skills to the test. Sign up to participate in the exchange by either hosting an exchange student from Germany for 3 weeks in the spring and/or traveling to Germany as a group in the summer. Contact your German teacher for more information!
