Principal's Message
Greetings Preschool Parents and Guardians,
Join me in celebrating the teaching team at Natick Preschool East. This site is new to Natick Preschool and we could not be prouder of the staff for creating an invigorating learning environment over the summer. Our highly trained teachers and therapists make academic and social emotional learning a priority at all of our sites.
Thank you for the role you all play in a safe dismissal. Please continue to bring your signs with your child's name. You will need your sign every day throughout the year.
Warm regards,
MaryBeth

Important Things to Know!
Meet our Team
Natick Preschool is supported by multiple Nurses and assistants across the district. We appreciate all of their wisdom and care!
Dismissal Name Signs and Routine
Each day we will dismiss children to their grown-up one at a time for safety. Dismissing children one at a time also offers an opportunity to practice and build-up the prosocial skill of exchanging a farewell with the school grown-up at the door before sharing a greeting with their home grown-up (First, good-bye. Then, hi!) Bring your signs with your child’s name on them each day so our dismissal leaders can efficiently notify the teacher of your presence.
Reminder for Parents Who Want to Volunteer--CORI Checks
Reminder If you want to volunteer in schools, you must have a CORI check conducted and you must go into the building with identification (drivers license or passport) to do this. Click here for description of what a CORI check is and does. Without a CORI check, you cannot volunteer in the school. Here is the form to fill out for a CORI. Preschool volunteer opportunities include being a Mystery Reader for the class, presenting a family tradition and supporting special projects.
When Less IS More
Children with fewer toys:
* tend to be more creative with the toys they already have
* know where everything goes and usually learn to clean up faster
* play longer with their toys because they maintain deeper focus
* venture outside for entertainment
* may get bored, but this is a good thing since this is when the imagination grows!
