Delivering World Class Education Today for the Global Leaders of Tomorrow.
Superintendent's Message
This week we celebrated Teacher Appreciation Week and National Nurses Week. Two essential professions that joins forces every day to achieve one very important goal: the education and well-being of our students. However, Teachers and Nurses have several other common traits. They are compassionate, caring, empathetic, nurturing, and amazing healers. They listen, understand, guide, teach, give hugs, and can make all things get better.
Please join me in congratulating our teachers and nurses for all that they do and for achieving their goal each day!
And for all Mothers in the Hudson school community, I hope you have a wonderful Mother’s Day!
Sincerely,
Marco
Art is Alive at Mulready Elementary
Mulready Artist’s enjoyed a night full of Art, Entertainment, and Icecream!
Under the direction of Mrs. Westberg and student teacher Ms. Chapman students in grades
Pre-K through 4 studied over 18 contemporary artists this year. Inspiration was evident as
students created work that was displayed in many areas of the building. The library was turned into a Glow gallery where students could have their faces painted with neon paint. More work hung in the hall, in the gym, and in the cafeteria. Each student had 4 pieces of work entered into the show. QR codes that linked to student portfolios in Artsonia were hung by their work. In the cafeteria, students enjoyed ice cream while listening to musical selections from the fourth grade.
Ms. Steinhaus put together a slide presentation of musicians' work that ran throughout the show.
