Conch
This is a shell that the boys found on the beach and it saved their lives, because it is what Ralph and Piggy used to get the boys gathered, and it is when the first organization to their plan started, all going up hill from there.
Ralph
Protagonist, 12 year old English boy who was the elected leader of the group. Ralph attempts to coordinate the boys, and make them civilized until someone comes to rescue them. But will Ralph be able to maintain them, or will they be too much and over rule him?
Will the make it out alive?! Or be stranded there forever?
Do or Die
The teenage boys are stranded on the island, without any supervision or adults around. As one can imagine, this caused a great amount of chaos, because there was no leadership or organization. Teenagers have the tenancy to think that they do not need any adults around, and they can do whatever they wanted, but in reality, they need someone to keep them straight. The boys soon figured this out, when they were not catching any food, and had no water, they were beginning to struggle because they had no leadership and they did not listen to one another. Ralph and Piggy battle for the top dog, but soon realize that if someone doesn't step up and take initiative then no one will survive, and the rest need to take the leaders orders. As teenagers this is hard to do, but will they be able to do it in order to stay alive? Or will they not be mature enough to do so, and let their need to be the leader and not listen to others opinions get in the way, and will they not survive their journey?
You will have to read the book and find out, and discover if these boys can overcome the chaos!!!
