2022 School Raffle
Dear St. Jude School Parents, Grandparents, and Alums,
It’s time again! Let the raffle begin!
St. Jude School is once again participating in the Catholic Schools raffle to benefit our school and our Chattanooga Deanery Tuition Assistance Fund. All monies from tickets sold stay in Chattanooga to support our families. Our campaign will kick off on September 26, and conclude on November 18, with the drawings to be held on January 5, 2023.
This year the Catholic Schools Raffle will give away $27,000 in prize money! For the $10 cost of a ticket, here’s what you can win:
2 - $5,000 Prizes
2 - $2,500 Prizes
12 - $1,000 Prizes
It’s EASY to participate:
- Order online at https://www.mysjs.com/support-us/raffle.cfm. You will be notified when they are ready, and your tickets may be mailed or picked up in the office.
- Current parents, look for flyers to come home with your children. One is attached to this email. The flyers may be filled out and returned to the office. Once again, you will be notified when they are ready, and your tickets may be mailed or picked up in the office.
SELL THESE TICKETS TO YOUR FAMILY, FRIENDS, AND NEIGHBORS. IT’S ALL TO BENEFIT OUR SCHOOL!
$6.50 of each ticket sold goes directly back to Saint Jude School! The remaining proceeds (after expenses) goes to support the Chattanooga Catholic Schools Tuition Assistance Fund to help qualifying families with tuition assistance.
On your Raffle order form, designate YOUR FAMILY with your purchase (remind family and friends as well!). Students will receive incentives based on tickets sold.
Families sell:
10 Raffle Tickets--Out of Uniform Day at SJS (TBD)
30 Raffle Tickets--Pizza Party lunch at SJS (TBD)
50 Raffle Tickets--$25 SCRIP Gift Card to Target
Last year we sold 6 tickets/student. This year let's aim for 10 tickets per student, and our school and families will benefit from over $14,000!
Thank you for your support! GO SAINTS!!!
SCRIP
Now in its eleventh year, the SCRIP fundraising program has been a great success raising over $200,000. Thanks to past participation, we have provided teacher appreciation events, class parties, and numerous campus improvements. If you aren't familiar with the program, all you have to do is download the RaiseRight app and buy gift cards before you shop. It's that easy! Most gift cards can be delivered electronically. But for those instances when you need a physical card, below is a timeline for the upcoming school year.
In order to fully support HASA’s mission, we ask every family to raise $140 through SCRIP purchases by February 17, 2023. If you chose the buy-in option when you registered online, you chose to contribute $140 to help with school programs and opt out of using the SCRIP program. If you did choose to opt-out of your registration paperwork, the $140 would be deducted through FACTS automatically. If you are participating in SCRIP and raise over $140 in rebates, your book bill will be credited.
SCRIP orders will be placed on:
November 18
December 2 (last order before Christmas for physical cards)
January 6
January 20
February 3
February 17
March 3
March 31
April 14
April 21
May 5 (last order for the year)
Gift cards will be sent home the Friday after the order date above.
If you have any questions about our Scrip program or if you need the St. Jude RaiseRight code, please contact Suzanne Payne at 423-718-4169. Please accept our sincere thanks for your diligence in raising funds and for your dedication to St. Jude School!
May God bless your family abundantly.
Sincerely,
Your Home and School Association Board
