The leaves are falling, the air is cooling and that can only mean one thing. Book Fair time!
Did you know that the Scholastic Book Fair at NCC is completely parent run! Our goal is to bring the joy of book choice to every student in NCC. And the bonus is it's a fundraiser that goes directly to supporting teacher and media room libraries. Students love it but is only possible with many volunteers.
Please review the available slots in the sign up genius. Even an hour of your time would mean a lot in a weeklong fair. Thank you!

Please join NCC PTA in welcoming Montgomery County Police Department Detective Dane Onorio for an important presentation about technology safety. Family Tech Safety: Online Predators--Strengthening Systems & Identifying Vulnerabilities on Wednesday October 11th from 6-8pm at NCC will provide your family with the information and tools needed to keep your children safe while navigating technology. Dinner will be provided. Due to the sensitive nature of the content, children cannot attend the presentation. Kids After Hours (KAH) will provide $10 childcare from 545pm-815pm for Kindergarten through 5th grade with dinner provided. For planning purposes, please let us know if you're coming by filling out this form.

SGA Campaign week- Oct. 2-6, 2023
This is Campaign week for the SGA Election. Students that are campaigning for SGA Offices (SGA President, Grade level Vice Presidents, Communications Manager) are encouraged to create one large poster which will be posted on the SGA bulletin board and 10 smaller posters which can be posted throughout the school this week only. The SGA election will take place on Friday, Oct. 6, 2023. Class representatives will be selected next week. The focus of the SGA is on community service and school spirit! All candidates will be featured on a special episode of Wake Up NCC!
MCPS Girls Summit
Message from the PTA -
There is a districtwide Girls Summit on Saturday, October 21, 9:00 a.m.—1:00 p.m. at Clarksburg High School. Students in 3rd through 12th grades and caregivers (not a drop off!) are invited to multiple supportive sessions on topics including healthy relationships, healthy eating and body image, self-esteem and more! This summit will empower girls and their caregivers through exposure to vital skills and information, networking, and fun activities.
