  • To Ms. Luz Rodriguez who did an AMAZING job on her DDI Form. It was so thorough and very reflective throughout the entire document.
  • To the 2nd Grade Math teachers!!! You all have been very strategic with your "Do Now" this past week. Every problem was purposefully spiraled in and data driven!!!
  • To Coach Dunn for getting students involved in Safety Patrol. Thanks for keeping our students safe!
  • To Ms. Adriana Martinez, Ms. Usher, and Ms. Sims for engaging in yet another after school meeting to plan and better equip themselves to serve their students in Science. Thank your for your devotion and dedication to our students!!!
  • To the entire Literacy Team!!!! From 2nd-5th grade, all our Reading teachers collaborated, analyzed data and shared best instructional practices (like a boss)!
  • To Ms. Dennis, Ms. Diaz and Ms. Rosa Martinez that attended a Writing Workshop at the Teaching Trust and will deliver a PD and support to our 3rd Grade team!
  • To Mr. Burak and Ms. Kruzel, both of whom (no matter what is going on) are always willing and happy to help any member of our Foster Family!
  • To Ms. Carter for an awesome "Alien Invasion" activity to emphasize context clues! Another great daily routine.
  • To our great and wonderful CICs for great data meetings, PD days, and common assessments. They have been demonstrating grit by working so hard for our kids!
  • To Ms. Wiessner for tutoring her advanced students last week! We are one step closer to 85/+10 because of your hard work!
  • To all the TAs for covering classes last week so the CICs could host their planning days.
  • To Ms. Baggs for being so flexible with the Library schedule!


  • 4B will make announcements all week (3 students report to Mr. Hall's Office by 7:40am)
  • Spots/Feedback for Group A this week
  • All grade proof lists must be to Ms. Alcala by 9:00am Monday
  • Committee Meetings Monday at 3:30pm in designated areas
  • New Teacher PD Tuesday at 3:30pm in Ms. Scully's Room
  • 1st Six Weeks Awards Ceremonies in the classrooms on Wednesday
  • We will have a visitor on campus Wednesday for "Principal for a Day"
  • FAC/BOC Wednesday at 3:15pm in the Library
  • Parent/Teacher Conference Night is Thursday from 4PM-8PM. If 80% or more of your conferences have been held prior to Thursday, you do not have to stay. Please make sure all of your parents sign-in
  • Top 16 Luncheon (All "D" sections) this Friday at 1:00pm in the Cafeteria


  • Remember to have your Exit Slips in the folder by 7:30am Monday morning!
  • Spots/Feedback: Group A
  • Certificates and Ribbons can be picked up for 1st Six Weeks Awards Ceremonies in Mr. Burak's Office on Monday after 10:30am or anytime Tuesday. Please take ONLY what you need.


  • Don't forget your deliverables from the Data Meetings for the Gap Analysis meetings this week.
  • All PLCs are back to regularly scheduled times.


  • Please make sure you are submitting attendance daily by 9:00am in Gradespeed.
  • All grade proof lists must be to Ms. Alcala by 9:00am Monday
