New Testing Accommodations

- What accommodations are you planning and for which students?
- Supplemental Aids and Mathematics Manipulatives- Must be used routinely, independently, and effectively during the classroom instruction and classroom testing. For a student not receiving SE or 504 services, or is ELL, the decision is made by the appropriate team of people at the campus level (RTI, STAT, etc) based on the eligibility criterion and is documented according to district policies. ELL students is made in LPAC. 504 students is documented on the student's IAP by the 504 committee. SE students is documented on the student's IEP and the decision is made by the ARD committee. We are in the process of forming a Designated Support Team.
- DS must be recorded in the ACCOMM field on the student's answer document for the STAAR test, and on the STAAR Assessment Management System for online administrators.

1. When using the charts (place value, number line etc), can they be in a page protector so that the kids can write on them and erase to keep using the same chart? Yes
2. I understand that everything gets turned in to STAAR when written on, so do they get multiple copies of the charts to write on? If the student needs multiple copies, yes.
3. And to clarify, the hundred chart can actually go to 1,000 if needed? Yes
