Class Opportunities
-STEM Connect students learned how to make floral corsages from Penta Career Center. This was a part of their plant sciences unit.
-STEM Connect students also visited Imagination Station to experience hands on science, technology, engineering and math.
-Equine & Vet Sciences students visited and toured Turkeyfoot Creek Creamery. This is a dairy goat farm, where they use their milk to make cheese and ice cream. The students learned about dairy goat husbandry and management, and had a chance to taste goat cheese and ice cream!

Toledo Zoo Volunteer Opportunity (30 FFA bucks)
Claire C, Destiny W, Kaytlin C, Addalynn F, Lilly K, Owen K, Maddy R, Ronald B
Meet at the Toledo Zoo Conservatory at 1:00 pm to work in rose garden until 4:00 pm. Please be picked up by 4:00 pm. Dress for the weather.

Greenhand and Chapter Degree Ceremony (30 FFA bucks)
6:30 pm in AWHS auditorium
Wear official dress or nice clothes.
EVERYONE is welcome!
December 11th
Brookview Farm Field Trip
AFNR 1 and 2 classes; students with D or F in any class that we will miss will not be able to attend.
4th-8th periods
Wear jeans and AW or FFA shirt.
Bring money for fast food lunch.
December 17th
FFA Holiday Party
Meet in the ag room right after school for hot cocoa and a holiday movie. Please be picked up by 3:30 pm.
December 23-January 5
AWHS and AWJH Winter Break
December 30-for area farmers
11:30-1 pm at AWHS in ag room (lunch provided)
