Proctors Needed

For Fall Final Exams at West Mecklenburg High School

It's That Time Again!

We are in need of several proctors for final exam testing and we would love your involvement. Any CMS parents, family members, or engaged community members, ages 18 and above and not currently enrolled in a CMS school, are permitted to assist in this manner.

Exam Dates

Monday, Jan. 12th 2015 at 7am to Friday, Jan. 16th 2015 at 7am

We Need Proctors Who Can...

  1. Read the North Carolina Testing Code of Ethics
  2. Maintain Test Security & Student Confidentiality at All Times
  3. Help Ensure the Physical Conditions in the Room Are Appropriate for Testing
  4. Ensure Appropriate Test Administration Procedures Are Followed
  5. Monitor Students
  6. Report all Testing Irregularities

Proctor Requirements

Proctors must be:


  • 18 years or older and not a student enrolled in a K-12 public school system
  • Registered in the CMS Volunteer System (see link below)
  • Trained prior to testing (see dates below...only one training required)

Training Opportunity #1 for Fall Final Exams

Tuesday, Jan. 6th 2015 at 7:30am

West Mecklenburg High School, 7400 Tuckaseegee Road, Charlotte, NC 28216

  • This training will be offered four times on January 6, 2015: at 7:30 a.m., 9:00 a.m., 10:30 a.m., or 1:00 p.m.
  • Let the receptionist know that you are here for Proctor Training.

Training Opportunity #2 for Fall Final Exams

Thursday, Jan. 8th 2015 at 2:30pm

West Mecklenburg High School, 7400 Tuckaseegee Road, Charlotte, NC 28216

  • You can also be trained the morning you choose to volunteer at 6:45 a.m. in the Media Center.
  • Let the receptionist know that you are here for Proctor Training.
