10.17.22 Liberty Creek Elementary

Liberty Creek Families

We are ready to start another FULL week as we have a lot of exciting activities planned for our students. Before we share, we would like to extend a HUGE thank you for all your support with our Fun Run. Our community raised $22,000 for our students and school! We would also like to give a shoutout to AVALON 24 Real Estate for sponsoring our student shirts and GEORGE GEE for our staff shirts.

Sincerely,

Alisha Alsaker

Principal

Math Curriculum: With our new math curriculum, comes a lot of preparation work. Each month we receive a list of items we need to prep for all of our classrooms. If you are interested, please click on the link to sign up. https://www.signupgenius.com/go/60b0d4aa4ac2ba3fd0-math

As of right now, we do not have specific times, however, we will use this list to reach out when we are getting ready to organize and put together all of the materials.

Recess Rangers (formerly known as Watch DOGS): We are looking for volunteers who would like to join us in saying hello to our students during lunch and then playing outside with them at recess. In the past, we have had adults organize a game of kickball, soccer, 4-square, etc. Our students enjoy having adults come and interact with them.

Halloween Party

Students CAN wear their costume to school. Please make sure it is appropriate for school and it is easy for them to get off to use the bathroom. We ask ALL masks and weapons stay at home and DO NOT use face painting.

All treats MUST be store bought (please check for any allergies in your classroom). We also ask to check with the teacher before you send a treat as we do not want to end up with 5 sets of 18 cupcakes.

All volunteers must be approved in order to be in the classrooms. Please do not wait until the day of, as we simply cannot process them and get approvals.
