MESSAGE FROM MRS. MOTZNY
Dear Parents,
Progress Reports will be available on Thursday, February 17th through Home Access Center. We strongly recommend that you view your child's current grades and teacher comments. To view your child's progress report follow these steps.
1. Go to www.cfisd.net.
2. Click on Students/Parents.
3. Click on Home Access Center.
4. Find "Grades" on the top of the screen.
5. After you click "Grades," the progress report will load.

5th grade book club will meet on Thursday, February 17 to discuss Esperanza Rising by Pam Munoz Ryan. 5th graders should read the book and join Mrs. Maddan in the library for lunch to discuss!

News Flash!!! The Garden Committee will be having a plant sale again this Spring! Sales will open in the PTO store starting February 14th through 25th. Plants will be ready for pick up on March 22nd and 23rd at the Lap Pool. More details to come!

Staff Appreciation Chili Cook-Off
We are so excited to host our first ever Staff Appreciation Chili Cook-Off on February 17, 2022. In order for this to be a success we need your best and hottest chili recipe! If you would like to participate in the chili cook-off, please email Emily Roberts (roberts1218@me.com) so she can give you the information you need in order to be eligible for the cook-off prize!
If you aren’t the chili-cooking type but you’d like to help make this day a success please see the sign-up and drop off your donations at Sampson the morning of our cook-off.
