AG HR News - Special Edition
Options regarding returning to the worksite
Introduction
This Special Edition of the AG HR News is designed to inform you of options that you may have if you are unable to return to your District worksite when the District transitions to live instruction.
Emergency Paid Family and Medical Leave
Full and part time employees are eligible for a maximum of 12 weeks of Emergency Paid Family and Medical Leave before December 31, 2020. This leave is solely to care for your child in the event his/her school is closed or child care provider is unavailable. This leave is available for a complete work week or on an interim (per day) basis if your child is in a hybrid program and only needs care on specific days.
Click on the box below to learn how you will be compensated if you choose to utilize Emergency Paid Family and Medical Leave. Please note that the daily rate will definitely be less than your current per diem rate.
Also, it is important to know that you WILL NOT receive pension credit for the period of time that you utilize Emergency Paid Family and Medical Leave.
Need to apply for Emergency Paid Family and Medical Leave? Complete the form titled "Emergency Paid Sick Leave and Emergency Paid Family and Medical Leave Request Form" on Frontline Central Forms.
Accommodations Under the Americans with Disabilities Act
The District complies with the Americans with Disabilities Act. It is the District’s policy to provide reasonable accommodations to employees with disabilities, in accordance with applicable law.
To be entitled to a reasonable accommodation, you must have a qualifying disability and a need for an accommodation that you make known to the District.
Upon receipt of a request for reasonable accommodation, the District will consider the request and discuss it with you as part of an interactive process. All requests for reasonable accommodation will be evaluated on an individualized and case-by-case basis, and in light of all relevant circumstances.
