Patrick Henry Post
November 8th, 2019
Welcome, November!
This week we welcomed a new month and a new season. Halloween left us with a great sugar high, and now we have entered into a season of thanksgiving. We are excited to celebrate with our families at the end of the month, but before that happens, we will be spending these weeks thinking with gratitude about our family members, friends, school staff, and resources that keep us safe, happy, and healthy! This week's Patrick Henry Post includes special experiences I am thankful that our staff provided for our students. Join us on this journey of thanksgiving throughout the month of November!
HomeWorks! Family Dinner
Thank you to HomeWorks! for sponsoring our first family dinner of the school year on Wednesday, November 6th. Mr. Cason organized the event with a delicious catered meal, and our parents, grandparents, and siblings got to enjoy the feast together with our staff members. HomeWorks! is an organization that provides the tools and opportunities for teachers to go on home visits so that they can connect with students and families on a personal level. We are so thankful for this partnership, and we are thankful for this dinner!
