The holiday season has begun, and our hope is that your family is enjoying this special time of year in every way. Along with the holidays, December brings cold weather. It is important that each student has a coat at school each day in order to stay warm when we go outside for recess. It is also critical that your child's name is written on the inside of his/her coat so we can return it to the right owner if it is lost. Lost coats without names inside them are placed in our lost and found and oftentimes are never claimed. If your child is in need of a warm coat for winter, please feel free to contact our Counselor (Linda Day) or Social Worker (Rebecca Weidman) and we would be happy to assist.

Highlights

  • Tiger Choice Hour! The past week we had our first every "Tiger Choice Hour" at MTE. This was a time set aside for each student to pick an activity of their choice and be mixed with others students in grades K-5. It was a huge success and we look forward to our next Tiger Choice Hour before Winter Break!
  • WE NEED YOUR SUPPORT: Our PTA is in desperate need of parents to join and attend meetings. We have a few more activities this year that need invovement. We will also be working to fill all roles on the PTA Board. Please join PTA and then attend a meeting to become more involved at MTE!!! Next Meeting: Thursday, December 4th @ 4:30pm
  • Winter Classroom parties will take place on Friday, December 20th at 3pm. Please get with your child(ren)'s teacher for more information and to volunteer!

School Hours - Arrival & Dissmissal

Our school day starts at 8:50 am and ends at 3:50 p.m. Doors open at 8:20 for students. Those arriving after 8:50 am will be counted as tardy. In the interest of safety, students may not be dropped off/left unattended before 8:20 am.

Bus & Car Riders are unloaded through the front doors. During dismissal, Car Riders are loaded in the lower lot by gymnasium doors. ANY CHANGES TO TRANSPORTATION must be made prior to 3:00 p.m. to ensure that student and teacher are aware of the change.
