January 2023
Message from the Principal
Welcome back everyone!
I hope everyone had a wonderful winter break and enjoyed some special time with family and friends! I would like to thank Santa (Dennis Mulcare) for visiting with all of our students. It was a pleasure seeing all of their excited faces as they sat on Santa’s lap. I would also like to thank all of our awesome ELC parents for continuing to work with your children at home and joining us for all our winter activities.
Have a wonderful and Happy New Year!
Jennifer Keyes
ELC Principal

Delayed Start
As the weather starts to get cooler and we get more snow the district may call a delayed start. If a delated start is announced, there will be no class for the AM session. The PM session will continue as a normal school day.
REGISTRATION!
It is that time of year when we need to start thinking about registering for the 2023-2024 school year. All students will need to complete reregistration starting mid-January. Please look for more information in homework folders.
Registration Process:
For students registering for Kindergarten for the 2023/24 school year:
Families will need to use their parent portal to reenroll for next year. (check your students homework folder for that information.)
If you have a student who will be 5 by October 1st, 2023, then they are of age to attend Kindergarten in Westminster Public Schools. At this point, you should be contacting your child’s home school and making sure they know you will be bringing your student. All families will need to complete an online reenrollment using their parent portal at the following link:
For students registering for Preschool for the 2023/24 school year:
The registration process has changed for students that will have another year in preschool. Although there will be some changes to the registration process due to universal preschool, we are excited to announce that all 4-year programs will be moving to a full day program. Some of our current classrooms, will be switching from half day programs to full day programs in August 2023. Before completing the districts online registration, parents will need to complete the UPK Colorado (Universal Preschool) application and accept a school match offer.
