Arts and AV - Animation
The Advanced Animation class recently took steps to help make this planet a better place. Instructor Daniel Mele led students through a class activity that promoted the #TeamTrees movement. The online tree planting group asked everyone in the world to donate money to this worthy cause. Every dollar donated resulted in one tree being planted. With a worldwide goal of 20,000,000 trees, the Advanced Animation class chose to make a digital forest of 3D trees to raise awareness and help promote the movement. Each student was responsible for designing ten trees and everyone added their trees to the 3D forest to post on social media. The students extended their learning and environmental awareness by planting a real tree behind our campus that serves as a reminder of what we can accomplish by working together.

Health Science
Ms. Conway's senior Internship Class began studies of the human anatomy and physiology as a project-based learning opportunity. Each group had to study, research and develop a pop-up-book on their assigned system and one common disease or disorder of that system.
Students presented their finding to classmates, other health science classes and 4th graders at Mary Jo Shepherd Elementary. A special thank you to Mary Jo Shepherd for allowing internship students to visit!
