Milbank Elementary School
Be Safe - Be Respectufl - Be Responsible
Staff at Milbank Elementary kept a close eye on students during the month of February and caught students who were being kind, thoughtful, and helpful! A quick photo of the student was snapped and put on our display screen in the cafeteria highlighting all the great acts done by our students! Over 100 acts were recognized by staff and displayed; however, there were far more acts that went unnoticed and students are continuing to show kindness, thoughtfulness, and helpfulness each day!
Read Across America Week
The first week in March students participated in Read Across America Week. This year's theme was Score With A Good Book! Each night students were encouraged to read for a minimum of 15 minutes for a chance to win a variety of prizes. PPE donated over 100 prizes for us to give away!
Chief VanVooren is teaching our 5th grade students decision making skills for safe and healthy living! Additionally, he does a great job building trust and positive connections with students!
