READING CAN BE FUN
ABOUT THE PROJECT
While learning a foreign language, grammar and vocabulary are not enough to communicate. Without practicing it is not possible to learn a language. Therefore, we decided to start this project.
With this project we arranged our teams at our schools and sometimes the member of these teams worked individually and sometimes as a group.
For each reading activity we matched schools / students with different schools, by this way they could communicate with different students from different schools. For each task there were new interschool, international teams.
Throughout the project both teachers and students trşed to use different web tools. We used Web.2.0 Tools both while preparing our works and while presenting them. So the students and teachers had chance to integrate technology to their learning and teaching.
This project focused on reading but to improve their reading skills, students need to write something, take some notes, prepare some posters, materials in English listen and talk to their friends on the project. As a result of all these activities they improved their four skills (writing, reading, listening, speaking) during the project.
Throughout the project our students produced, created all the joint works together, interactively.

We celebrated International Day of Tolerance
Improve Your Reading Skills : Authors
Our students worked on collaboratively and prepared their original reading materials
They decided on the writers/poets first (we used Forum part of Twinspace, Google Forms and a Poll on Twinspace)
Then the duties were distributed.
Each partner's students wrote one part of the reading text
Students wrote some questions and answers from their writings
They wrote the links of the sources they used, too
And the writings were collected and shared in an eBook.
Our Collaborative eBook on Authors
International Day of Tolerance
Our students have written their ideas about what can be done for the international day of tolerance
When we checked them we saw that 3 ideas were the things most suggested
1- To talk to their friends about this subject through an online meeting
2- To brainstorm about tolerance
3- To prepare poster / posters
*******
Then as teachers we decided to combine these three.
We decided to organize an online meeting, during this online meeting brainstorming by using Mentimeter and collecting the ideas in a word cloud and sharing as a collaborative poster.
IN DECEMBER 2021
We collected and shared them as an Interactive Book
