Finland Schools
- finnish kids dont start school till they are seven years old
- they rarely take tests or do homework till they are teens
- the children are not measured at all for the first 6 years
- all children cleaver or not are in the same class room
- 66 percent of all students go to college - highest in europe
Elementary school students get 75 minutes of recess a day in Finnish versus an average of 27 minutes in the US.
Teachers only spend 4 hours a day in the classroom, and take 2 hours a week for "professional development".

- There can be a lot of homework and heavy emphasis on the "three Rs" - reading, writing and aRithmatic.
