Grading Policy Update
Students who receive a grade between 70 - 79 (on assignments that don't require school resources) are able to make corrections on the assignment at home and return the assignment for up to an 80. Corrections should be made in pen and original answers should not be erased.

Our Learning Targets
Writing: We can write compositions that include a central idea, supporting sentences, and a concluding statement. We can use possessive nouns correctly in our writing.
Social Studies: We can identify the purposes and explain the importance of the Texas Declaration of Independence and the Texas Constitution.
Math: We can compare and order decimals using concrete and visual models to the hundredths; we can relate decimals to fractions that name tenths and hundredths; we can determine the corresponding decimal to the tenths or hundredths place of a specified point on a number line.
Science: e can demonstrate that electricity travels in a closed path, We can create an electrical circuit. We can explore an electromagnetic field.

Calming down helps you handle put-downs and avoid making conflicts escalate.
Students will be able to:
- Identify strategies for handling put-downs
- Demonstrate what they’ve learned about strategies for calming down
- Demonstrate assertive responses to put-downs
