Bell Schedule

Laptop Distribution Information
If you missed the grade level laptop pickup this week, you still have an opportunity. There is no sign up needed prior to pick up.
- All Grades - August 17th from 1:00 PM - 5:00 PM
To help with pick up please follow the following guidelines:
- All laptops will be picked up in the front of the school
- Please wear a face mask when coming up to the campus
- Students will need to log onto the laptop before they can take it home
- Student username is their ID number. Their password is first initial (capital), last initial, and birth date i.e. UN: 000111 PW: Jf041408
- Please allow for 5 - 7 minutes to get your laptop set up
- Once computer has logged on, student may take the laptop and a charger home.
"I have a computer, will it work for Remote Learning?"
EMSISD Remote Instruction is going to depend on Microsoft 365, Microsoft Teams and Canvas as the primary applications for instruction and interaction with teachers. All students are provided a Microsoft 365 account. A computer or tablet needs to support Office 365 applications, the operating system and have a method to connect to the internet. For best results your device should have the following.

Tablets: iPad – 5th, 6th, and 7th Generation, Windows tablets except Windows RT
Operating Systems
Windows: 10, versions 1803, 1809, 1903, 1909 (Windows 10 S is not supported at this time) Mac OSX: 10.13, 10.14, 10.15 iOS: 12, 13
Processors
Windows: Intel x86 (32 or 64 bit) Mac OSX: Intel-based models iOS: Any
Memory (RAM)
Windows: Minimum 4 GB recommended - Mac OSX: 2 GB (4 GB recommended) iOS: 1 GB (2 GB recommended)
Minimum Screen Size - 9.5 inches for Tablets – 13 inches for laptops
Minimum Screen Resolution - 1024 x 768 for all devices
Keyboard - ** Physical keyboard required for assessments with essays. Wired keyboard and mouse are strongly recommended.
