Shareware-Copyrighted work that you can share, copy, and use for free for a limited time

Example-AOL


All Rights Reserved-Only allows purchaser to use software according to details spelled out in license agreement

Example-Microsoft Word


Open Source-Software that includes the source code with idea that someone improves it.

Example-FireFox, Google Chrome.
