QR Code Activities in Classroom
QR Codes can be a highly engaging tool to use with students. Students enjoy the exploratory nature QR code activities lend themselves to. QR code lessons can help promote communication and collaboration when working together as a team to find QR and solve the question or problem the QR code reveals. QR Code creators are great to help make a great QR Code lesson for students. Did you know using a shorter URL (web address) can make for a simpler QR Image? There is a Chrome Extension called goo.gl URL Shortener that can help make shorter URLs and simpler QR Code images. Go to the Chrome Web Store to install it & start using it today. Even if you are not making QR codes, shortening websites can be a helpful way to share web resources with students quickly on the fly.
Google Classroom now includes Polling
Google Classroom recently added the ability to use class polling. Being about to ask a quick question with students in Google Classroom can be helpful as an exit ticket, student self-monitoring, get feedback from students, and guide student activities.
