This month it is being held at the elementary campus but typically it is at the high school commons. Our School Board consists of our Superintendent and 7 elected respresentatives. The School Board serves grades K-12. The meetings are open to the public and agendas are posted on the website. The Board acts to help us ensure that all students receive the best possible educational experience. Thank you to our 7 representatives for engaging, supporting, and leading us. | Have You Heard Your Students Talking About Tableaux? Here is an example of our implemention and arts integration. Mrs. Lamp's 2nd grade class read and discussed the story Stellaluna by Janell Cannon. Next, we created tableaux of important parts of the story. We used the tableaux to help with sequencing and summarizing skills. The actors in the tableaux also wrote a statement about their role. What is a tableaux? It's a group of models or motionless figures representing a scene from a story. |
