England Service Trip
An exciting two and a half week service trip to Leeds!
INFO SESSIONS | Nazareth | Leeds Beckett University Summer Service Exchange Trip 2018!
The Leeds/Nazareth International Service Exchange is an exciting two and a half week service trip to England!
What’s this all about?
Travel as a member of the Naz team to Leeds, England where you will work with youth through the Hunslet Club assisting children and young adults by supporting programs that raise confidence levels, provide vital opportunities to socialize with peer groups, teach new skills, and support healthier lifestyles through sport, dance, theater, arts and more. The next project is at Hollybank Trust, working with individuals with developmental disabilities. You will assist with daily activities, creative projects, and maybe even go sailing! Through the West Indian Cultural Center in Chapeltown our students explore living history while participating in enriching activities with youth and elder community members. Students will explore the history of Chapeltown by documenting tours and dialogues with community elders. Students may also assist with preparations for the community “Carnival” celebration. The trip concludes with 2 "sight-seeing" nights in London.
