STUDENT NEWS!
KISD COLLEGE ATHLETE RECRUITING NIGHT
On Wednesday February 28th at the Merrell Center, KISD is going to be hosting our second Katy ISD College Athlete Recruiting Night. We are going to be splitting this night into two separate presentations to target the groups of athletes with information that is relevant to where they are in their athletic journey.
From 6pm-7pm the Junior Hight student athletes will be hearing the presentation from Todd Kelly while the High School student athletes are in a separate presentation focused on their highlight film development and social media appearance in the recruiting process. During this time we will also have coaches present to help analyze these athletes highlight films to provide some quality feedback to these student athletes.
From 7pm-8pm the two groups will flip with the High School student athletes going to hear the presentation from Todd Kelly focused on information that is relevant to the stage they are at in the recruiting process. During this time the Junior High student athletes will be in a presentation focused around their social media appearance, looking at the recruiting progress checklist, and hearing about academic progress at the high school level.
We are hoping to have a great turnout and are excited to have Mr. Kelly provides some great insight on what is becoming a much more complex process for student athletes to work their way through.
