Who is Demi Lovato?

Demetria Devonne Lovato, 23, was born in Albuquerque, New Mexico on August 20th, 1992. She grew up with an abusive father, being bullied in school and very depressed. Due to bullying, Demi left public schooling, grew up to become very suicidal and began to develop an eating disorder. She felt very sad and withdrawn to her family and friends which made her worse.


At 18, she had her own Disney Channel show titled, "Sonny With a Chance." She had to quit the show then to focus ore on her music career. She went on tour with the Jonas Brothers as their opening act but soon left because she knew it was time for her to change. In November of 2011, Demi checked herself into a rehab facility in Chicago, Illinois for,



  • Bipolar Disorder
  • Anorexia
  • Bulimia
  • Drug and Alcohol Addiction
  • And self harm



Demi stayed and got help for a few months and now today, is stronger then she has ever been.


In the past few years, Demi has focused on her career in music, wrote a memoir, and has done tons of charity work for charities helping bullying and eating disorders. Demi has just released her fifth album, 'Confident', and is preparing for her Future Now Tour with Nick Jonas. She started up a skin care line, and as of a few days ago, she is four years sober!
